Criteria for Hall of Fame 

  1. Contributions made to the auction profession
  2. Involvement is the OAA
  3. Involvement in the NAA
  4. Involvement in the community

It is not a requirement to have been an officer or director of either the state or national association.  It is, however, important that he or she hasbeen a leader in the auction profession and has given himself or her self towards raising the professionalism of Auctioneers.

Anyone can be nominated for this award.

Once nominated, an Auctioneer is listed on the ballot.  If not selected, their name is dropped for one year, however, they can be re-nominated.  To be selected, the nominee must receive majority votes.  Nominations are made prior to the Spring Convention in February with a deadline of January 5th.  Nominations will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and selection will be determined prior to convention.  The inductee will be announced at the Saturday night awards banquet.
