estate activity in which person participates.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

Relating to auctioneers.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act is added to and made a part of ORS 696.010 to 696.495. + }

SECTION 2. { + Notwithstanding ORS 696.020, if auctioning or offering, attempting or agreeing to auction real estate is the
only professional real estate activity in which a person participates, the person is not required to be licensed under ORS
696.020 and may conduct business with more than one real estate
licensee. + }

SECTION 3. { + Section 2 of this 2007 Act applies to auctions occurring, offers made, attempts made and agreements entered into on or after the effective date of this 2007 Act. + }
