Resumé/Bio
Gary McLaren has specialized in auctioneering since 1994, and has over 20 years of experience specializing in antiques and collectibles. He is the owner of McLaren Auction Services at The Aurora Colony Auction House, located in historic Aurora, Oregon. His services include appraisal, marketing strategies, and assistance in transitional moves. McLaren Auction Services holds an auction on the first and third Thursday of every month as well as periodic specialized auctions including fine art auctions.
Gary was born in Aurora, Oregon where he still lives. He is the proud father of four grown children, and raised them as a single parent during much of their childhood. Two of his sons are serving in the United States Military.
In his spare time, Gary enjoys searching for antique and collectible items at garage sales and flea markets or at specialty sales.
